We are pleased to partner with The Triangle Quilting Guild to offer our first beginners quilting workshop! Join us as we cover the basics of quilting and sew your own churn dash table runner.

The workshop will be held on Sunday June 5th from 1:00 - 3:00 and run for four weeks.

This class will cover the basics of selecting, preparing and cutting your fabric. It will help you gain confidence using a rotary cutter and quilting ruler, as well as teach you how to read instructions with various quilting terms.

Students will need to bring their own sewing machine, a basic knowledge of sewing and threading your machine is a prerequisite of this workshop. (If you need help beforehand let us know!). We will help you set up your machine for accurate 1/4" seams, and go over different types of threads, needles, presser feet, and tension settings to set you up for success! 

We will share our favorite short cuts and tips along with various quilting resources to get you started on your quilting journey. We look forward to sharing our love of this wonderful art form with you!

Fabric and thread required for the project is included with the class fee. 

We will have cutting matts, rulers, rotary cutters, seam rippers, and irons available for use in class, but if you'd like to bring or purchase your own, contact us for a workshop discount!
